About Tack Ching Kindergarten
Tack Ching Kindergarten is a non-profit-making school founded by the sisters of the Precious Blood in 1938. The school building was originally located in Kiu Kiang Street, Sham Shui Po, a five-storey building. However, our school has moved to a brand new school building at No. 168 Fuk Wing Street, Sham Shui Po in September 2020. Our school is like a happy educational park with excellent teachers, well-equipped facilities, and a pleasant learning atmosphere. Our school belongs to the same school organization with the Precious Blood Ka Ling Primary School, Tack Ching Girls’ Secondary School, Holy Trinity College and Kwai Ming Wu Memorial School of the Precious Blood. Our organization provides the education services like kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools.

Our school programme
Gather the essence of various teaching methods and take children as the lead. School support measures for non-Chinese speaking children
- Recruit teachers with experience in teaching non-Chinese speaking students to implement different modes of learning activities and provide classroom support for non-Chinese speaking students.
- When designing learning activities, teachers will adjust learning objectives, teaching strategies, teaching content, learning activities, etc. according to the different learning needs of non-Chinese speaking students.
- Create a rich Chinese context for non-Chinese speaking students so that they can be more exposed to and apply Chinese.
- Organize school-wide multicultural activities, such as celebrating Lunar New Year, Christmas, etc., to allow parents and students to understand the cultures of different countries.
- Purchase appropriate teaching resources, such as books, textbooks, etc., to teach non-Chinese speaking students literacy.
- Understand the opinions of parents of non-Chinese speaking students on the support provided by the school through multiple channels, such as interviews, school announcements, electronic questionnaires, etc.
- Arrange teachers to take designated recognized courses on supporting non-Chinese speaking students to enhance relevant professional capabilities.
Fee
The school has participated in the “Kindergarten Education Scheme” program of the Education Bureau, and the tuition is fully funded by the government.
